RTFM: Sometimes, when you're solving the code, it's solving you back.

1997, Silicon Valley, right before New Year's. Queer programmer Dev isn't afraid of a little hard work, but going home at the end of the day is another story altogether. Unfortunately for her, she's finally finished her big project and has a real challenge ahead: a couple of days off.

In the next 48 hours, she will speak with the dead and the merely forgotten, go nose to nose with the world's angriest ex-salesman, break one code and unbreak another, get smitten beyond all reason, and find out that even when it comes to intelligences of the non-artificial variety, the line between illusion and reality may just come down to lines of programming.

Yeah, everything would've been simpler if she'd just kept working, but then, when you stay away from home for too long, things sure do have a way of piling up. Confused? Don't be. Just pull on your sharp suit, put a record on, and read the f****** manual.

Narrative feature film, 91:00, PAL or NTSC miniDV.

A computer would deserve to be called intelligent if it could deceive a human into believing that it was human.
